Knowledge Paves the Path to Lifestyle Change
More than 40 hours of education begin with a 6 hour assessment session. The assessment process sets the stage for achievable goals and includes:
- Behavior and medical history review
- Computation of resting metabolic rate
- Measurement of resting heart rate and blood pressure
- Appropriate blood testing
- Scale weight and body mass index calculation
- Body fat percentage determination
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality profile
- Fitness testing
The staff will work with you to forge a diet and exercise strategy that assures you use stored body fat for energy as you return to more optimal levels of health. You will learn behavior strategies to help support your success and you will receive technical tools to help you monitor workout intensity, manage stress and track calories.
Program Structure Offers On-Going Support
After the initial assessment, you will attend monthly 3-hour group meetings for the next 12 months. These meetings will include all the participants in the Transformation program. At each of these meetings, you will be served a healthy and tasty meal. We will prepare you for shopping wisely and cooking healthy meals at home. You will learn to recognize normal portion sizes, tricks to modifying recipes and how to order sensibly in restaurants.
Additional content includes specific discussions about metabolism, health issues related to weight and lifestyle choices, behavioral workshops, relaxation techniques and group discussions. In addition to the monthly group meetings, you will meet weekly with Dr. Ferrier for a brief check-in to review your food and exercise plan, check your weight and discuss any challenges for that week.

Fitness Related Activities Speed You Toward Your Goal
You will learn how to use aerobic activity, strength training, mind-body experiences and rest to reach your goals. You will be able to measure fitness progress before you see changes on a scale.
Gain Enjoyment from Nutritious Foods
At each three-hour session you will be served diverse, healthy, tasty meals certain to delight and surprise you. We will also prepare you for shopping wisely and cooking healthy meals at home. You will learn to recognize normal portion sizes, tricks to modifying recipes, and how to order sensibly in restaurants. We will also recommend nutritional supplementation strategies, where needed.
All Inclusive Fee Prevents Costly Surprises
The cost of the 12 month program is $1295. Payment options include either paying the full fee at the beginning of the program or you can pay $695 at the beginning with 5 monthly payments of $130 for the next 5 months. This all-inclusive fee covers a comprehensive health evaluation, initial and follow-up assessments, fitness instruction, healthful meals at each session, more than 40 hours of education and weekly individual check-ins for the entire year. You will receive detailed instruction in diet and exercise, behavior, and lifestyle management as well as more than $200 in products and materials that can assure your success.

TRANSFORMATION at GreenField Health was developed by Dr. Cynthia Ferrier and Ronda Gates, M.S. Cynthia is a highly regarded Internal Medicine physician with over 20 years experience helping patients deal with health issues related to weight and lifestyle choices. Ronda is a pharmacy graduate and a well-known health promotion educator, who has developed weight and lifestyle management programs around the country. Their team approach to the program offers many opportunities for communication, collaboration and success.
