This week’s Spotlight highlights Dona Ramadani, a Medical assistant here at GreenField Health. She joined the GreenField Team about 6 months ago and before that worked at an allergist office for roughly 2 and a half years. Dona was drawn to GreenField because of the quality time it offers providers to meet and develop relationships with patients. When asked what led Dona to this position she answered, “I worked in family practice and other specialties, but wanted to work at a place where you could remember your patients and not just their faces, but actual facts about them. It’s important to me when I visit my doctor’s office that they remember me and the little things that make me who I am. I find it much easier to be able to do that at Greenfield. This company is all about growth as well, which is very important when you’re looking at long term career!” Dona also notes that she finds GreenField’s approach to healthcare to be unique because it allows providers to help patients by truly listening to their concerns.
Outside of work, Dona spends time enjoying the outdoors through various activities such as snowboarding, hiking, or swimming. She also enjoys reading and watching movies, specifically, Elf (2003) which she claims is a year-round movie, to be enjoyed during any season, not just Christmas time.
Dona would like to thank “all of our patients for being patient with us, with each other, and with themselves. Patience can be a hard quality to possess, but it is truly appreciated during this difficult time.”
Dona’s Health Tip:
“One health tip I have is to never stop being active. No matter how hard it is and how tired you may be, exercising is so important for your physical and mental health. Your day and mood change when you’re active!”
