From Dr. David Hays:
Our good friend and Health Coordinator Connie Turner has retired from GreenField Health. A health issue prompted this, and as some of you already know, she is no longer working at our Eastside Office.
All of us at GreenField Health celebrate Connie and the contributions she has made in the past seven years. Her warmth and caring means so much to both her Eastside patients--whom she treats like family--and her colleagues here. We’re lucky to have worked with her and claim her as a good friend.
Connie was instrumental in helping us establish our first office on NE Broadway—she and I built the practice together from the ground up. She proved as essential in our move this past January when we launched our new Eastside office in the Lloyd District.
The health issue I mentioned earlier is not dire, and Connie will be fine. She would enjoy hearing from you as she recovers this summer. Feel free to send cards to her c/o GreenField Health, 700 NE Multnomah, Ste. 400, Portland, OR 97232; we will forward them to her.
Lastly, I want to share a message from Connie to you, her patients and friends:
“I expected to retire in 2015 but not as abruptly as this, because of this unexpected health issue. Thankfully, it is treatable and I will be on my feet raring to go in a few months. It has been an honor and a privilege to have been with GreenField Health and most especially to work with great patients and their families. I will miss everyone, and you are forever in my heart. Thank you.”
Connie adds that she’s leaving you in good hands, with the Eastside team and especially Sara Flake, the health coordinator who works closely with me and my fellow clinicians Vesna Jovanovic, Jill Miller and Joan Nelson. All of us share Connie’s appreciation for you and your trust in us.
David Hays, MD
