Erin received her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from San Diego State University. Additional training via her dietetic internship helped to prepare Erin for her professional roles as an inpatient, outpatient, and clinical dietitian at Kaiser in Southern California. Erin spent 6 years providing medical nutrition therapy in the hospital setting and nutritional counselling in the outpatient setting to both the adult and pediatric populations. She especially enjoyed the challenge of providing nutrition support to the NICU infants and loved watching them grow into healthy and happy toddlers as Kaiser’s lead High Risk Infant Clinic nutritional therapist.  Working as part of this multidisciplinary treatment team has been one of her most rewarding experiences.

Erin’s next move, both professionally and geographically, led her to the island of Oahu. Here, Erin led participants through Dr. Dean Ornish’s largest Lifestyle Medicine program in the nation – a lifestyle modification program scientifically proven reverse the effects of heart disease and other chronic conditions. Erin provided nutrition classes, cooking demonstrations, developed disease-specific meal plans and menus, and was featured on various news and lifestyle television programs.

Erin met and married the love of her life and together decided that the Pacific Northwest would be the best place for them to practice what they love in a beautiful area that was closer to family. She loves the fall leaves, the farmers markets, and the vast culinary and food culture.

Erin believes that there’s nothing more important or rewarding than establishing a trusting connection with her patients so that she can assist with reaching their total health goals. She knows that the perfect nutrition prescription can be different for each person and loves helping her patients find what eating pattern works best for them. Erin thinks that GreenField is the perfect place to continue her practice and feels lucky to have found a team of practitioners with similar goals.

In her spare time, Erin loves cooking, gardening, listening to podcasts, spending time with her husband and dogs, hiking, biking, traveling, dancing and dining. She plans to become a certified Pound Fit instructor and hopes to start teaching exercise classes soon!
